Prinlaws 25/01/09

Game was played on a mudbath park at Dovecot.  Prinlaws started better and had a couple of chances before we came into the game and created a couple of chances ourselfs.Prinlaws took the lead through a well taken free kick after a dubious foul.  We replied fairly quickly when Gav had a lung bursting run and a good finish (dont think the keeper will want to think about this goal again).  Prinlaws hit right back though when the smallest player on the park was given a free haeder.  Again we hit back when a Willie shot was slightly deflected into the net.

HT 2-2

Second half was a struggle and both teams tried to play football on an increasingly difficult pitch.  We thought we had snatched it when Willies lob hit the post then stuck on the goal line but it wasnt to be.  Then when it looked like a draw was likely Prinlaws snatched it  with ten to go.

FT 3-2

All in all i thought we let ourselfs down in the second half the day as we seemed to lack a wee bit of fight but thats the unbeaten league run over now so we have to get the desire and fight back for the rest of the campaign.
