Andrew Cobban BDS MFDS RCS(Ed) Dip Rest Dent RCS (Eng)

Andrew is originally from Inverness and qualified from Glasgow Dental School in 2003.  He Studied in Edinburgh for two years before gaining his Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons in 2005. Being committed to developing his skills, he completed a two-year Diploma in Restorative Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2010. He took over as the principal dentist at the practice from Malcolm Jones in 2013 and enjoys all aspects of clinical Dentistry.

He is extremely enthusiastic about dental education and has been a Vocational Trainer for five years, regularly giving lectures and participating in study day sessions for new graduates. In summer 2018 he was invited to Germany by one of the major Dental Companies for a course on their latest innovations and is able to apply the latest techniques in clinical practice.

In what little spare time he has, he enjoys swimming, racket sports and spending time with his wife and  children.

Angela Farley BDS

Angela qualified from Glasgow Dental School in 2004 and then went on to do her vocational training in the Scottish Higlands and Islands.Since 2005 she hs been working in general dental practice and has been providing private dentistry for over 10 years. Angela  regularly participates in continuing professional development and completed enhanced practioner training in 2019.

Angela carries out all aspects of general dentistry, including crown and bridge work, preventative dentistry and teeth whitening. In the surgery she has a calm and caring manner. Angela strives for her patients to acheive excellent dental health.

Christopher Fogg BDS

Chris joined us in 2024 doing his Vocational Training and is now joining the Practice.

Chris is enjoying life in Nairn and likes to visit his family nearby.

Hygienists

Amanda Gordon Dip DH

Amanda is originally from Buckinghamshire, joined the RAF in 1987 trained as a dental nurse then progressed to hygienist qualifying in 1993. After a life in the RAF Amanda came to Nairn and fell in love with the place and joined the practice in 1997. A few years later she welcomed her son into the world and has juggled motherhood and work ever since.

In her spare time Amanda enjoys holidays in hot places and spending time with loved ones.

Kirsteen MacLeod Dip DH

After training as a dental nurse Kirsteen trained at Dundee as a hygienist in 1997 and has worked in various practices in the Highlands and works between two practices at the moment.

In her spare time Kirsteen cares for her horses,competes with them, enjoys cycling, jogging, baking reading and cooking for family and friends.

Practice Manager

Iona Morrison QDN

Iona is our Practice Manager and when not in work you'll find her walking the dogs or looking after her grandchild

Tina MacMillan 
 

Tina is our Lead Receptionist and has been at the practice so long it would give her age away, now no longer in surgery she has hung up her scrubs and can be seen on reception.

Lesley Green QDN

Lesley is our Senior Nurse and when not in the practice or looking after her two boys she likes to take a run along the beach.

NEW for 2024 

Lesley has qualified as a Facial Aesthetics Practioner and is busy organising Facial Aesthetics @ glenridding which is very exciting.

Naomi Fraser QDN

Naomi joined us in January 2024 with a wealth of experience mainly gained in the RAF. Naomi looks after our Decontamination Unit at the practice.

Outside of work Naomi is caring for her husband and her young son.

Carol works Part Time and is our calming influence on our VT dentists.

Outwith work you will find Carol out with her dog or caring for family

Rhianna joined us from an orthodontic practice so brings in extra skills while enjoying the challenge of a more varied practice here .

In her spare time when not with her Family and friends will be out and about with her dog. 

Olivia Millar QDN

Olivia  works full time - has passed her Dental Nursing Course and is just waiting to get her registration finalised.

You will often see Olivia competing in local runs and loves a keep fit class and has completed the London marathon in 2024! Currently on maternity leave

Kaylin Phimister QDN

Kaylin joined us in November 23 and has  now passed her Dental Nursing Exams

She  is enjoying dental nursing, away from work Kaylin can be found with friends and family and enjoys travelling.

Zara joined us in May 25 and will start her course to become a dental nurse in September 2025
