Forth were out for revenge against GMA, having lost their last league fixture against them 2 weeks ago.  Things didn't get off to a great start, however when a GMA shot just dribbled over the line and they slotted another one into the net shortly after.  Forth began to settle down after that and were soon taking hold of the game.  Forth's first score when Ruth Bordoli received a lovely pass just inside the D and hammered it past the keeper.  That gave the whole team a boost, Mairi Lawson and Jen Smith cleared every ball that came into the Forth half of the pitch from then to the break.  Linda Corcoran and Jenny Durkin put in loads of legwork in midfield and eventually all the pressure paid off when Leigh Fell scored another beautiful goal.  Forth kept the pressure on but the whistle came too soon for them to score again.

In the second half Forth continued as they'd left off and their work paid off when Katy Smith managed anaother goal to put Forth in front for the first time.  It wasn't to last however, as GMA's half forward dribbled down the pitch to equalise again.  They were quick to capitalise on their momentum and a lucky corner that curved into the net put them in from again.  With only ten minutes or so remaining GMA's half forward scored again and Forth scrambled to make up the deficit but weren't able to manage it before the end.
