In a match that had its venue changed at short notice Forth showed G.M.A. how it's done.

Forth piled the pressure on the visitors right from the start and were unlucky not to convert more of the goal opportunites that they had.  G.M.A. were not willing to go down easily though and tried their best to punish Forth for any slips.  Forth's defensive wall stopped everything coming in with fantastic clearances from Jen Smith, Sophie Moyles and Mairi Lawson setting up scoring opportunites for the forwards and midfields.  Mickie Imrie in goals managed to keep a clean sheet even when faced with a penalty.  Finally Forth's pressure paid off when Jo Gorniak netted an excellent shot for the game's first score shortly before the half time whistle.

Forth came out in the second half determined to add to their tally and it wasn't long before Jo struck another ball home.  G.M.A. continued to fight back and managed another score before long but they were to see very little of the ball for the rest of the match.  Two more goals secured the match for Forth.  The fist was a deflection for Aisling Spain from a pass from Ruth Bordoli and the second, only minutes later from Caitriona Mulkerrins.  For the rest of the half Forth continued to dominate and the ball rarely made it past midfield again before the final whistle.
