The Nicean Creed
The Nicene Creed (Greek: Σύμβολον τῆς Νικαίας or, τῆς πίστεως, Latin: Symbolum Nicaenum) is a Symbol of faith widely used in Christian liturgy. It is called Nicene /ˈnaɪsiːn/ because it was originally adopted in the city of Nicaea (present day Iznik, Turkey) by the First Council of Nicaea in 325.
We (I) believe in God,
The Father almighty,
maker of heaven and earth,
of all things visible and invisible.
And in one Lord Jesus Christ,
the only Son of God,
begotten from the Father before all ages,
God from God,
Light from Light,
true God from true God,
begotten, not made;
of the same essence as the Father.
Through him all things were made.
For us and for our salvation
he came down from heaven;
he became incarnate by the Holy Spirit and the virgin Mary,
and was made human.
He was crucified for us under Pontius Pilate;
he suffered and was buried.
The third day he rose again, according to the Scriptures.
He ascended to heaven
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again with glory
to judge the living and the dead.
His kingdom will never end.
And we (I) believe in the Holy Spirit,
the Lord, the giver of life.
He proceeds from the Father and the Son,
and with the Father and the Son is worshiped and glorified.
He spoke through the prophets.
We believe in one holy catholic* and apostolic church.
We affirm one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.
We look forward to the resurrection of the dead,
and to life in the world to come. Amen.
* holy catholic (Catholic being interpretation as meaning universal, not the Roman Catholic Church).
BORN AGAIN
In accordance with New Testament teaching and personal experience I fully support the teachings of being born again through an acknowledgement, and repentance of personal sin against God, Christ & the Holy Spirit. (John 3:7 & Mark 1:15).
THE BIBLE
2nd Timothy 3: 16&17
All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.
THE TRINITY
I believe in one God, three persons, one essence. God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit.

GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT
I believe in the full funtion of the Gifts of the Spirit within the body of believers is still active today and foreveremore until the return of Christ and that these gifts should be used in accordance with Scripture for the glorification of God, through the empowerment of the Holy Spirit while under the care and accountability of those who have been placed above us in positions of authority, within the church from on high to further the ministry of calling placed on all believers.
