DIY Stereo
This will have to do until I get some more time, and a bit more familiar with this website (which is actually SUPER EASY. I'm a total computer newb).
Here is a thread where I modify an old FullRange driver by removing the stock treated paper surround. I upgraded to a foam surround which is more compliant and has better damping characteristics.
While I was at it, I damped the basket legs and any reflective surfaces.
