All sections meet up at Summer Camp

by Mufasa - 21:51 on 06 August 2008
Today the 9th Beavers  met up with the Cubs and Scouts on Summer Camp at Bovington Tank Museum for the Day,

Despite overcast conditions, and some light rain during the outside display, everyone enjoyed their time, and it was good to see all sections intermingling and re-acting.

After the Tank Museum (Picture on Beavers Page) everyone returned to the camp site at Bowling Green Wood, where the Beavers were able to explore the site, play some wide games supervised by the Scouts giving the Leaders a fairly un-interupted and welcome cup of tea/coffee.

Tea of Mashed potato, Fish Fingers and Beans followed by fresh fruit or choice of "Angel Delight" was rapidly demolished by robust appetites all round!   The end of the day saw the Beavers returned to the Scout Hut by Minibus to be re-united with their parents, a good time being had by all.

Thanks to the staff at Bovington Tank Museum for their co-operation, and the Scout & Cub leaders for their help and stamina to see the day through for everyone.

Mufasa, It was lovely to see the beavers join us on the trip to tank museum, as part of our summer camp. The scouts enjoyed the chance to organise the beavers a game. Hope all you beavers enjoyed your day with us.
