Beavers don't LEAF it to someone else!

by Mufasa (Allegedly) - 18:00 on 31 January 2009

Well done to all the Beavers and their Brothers, Sisters and Parents who helped clear the Agility trail of leaves at Butchers Coppice Camp Site.

Two hours and a massive 35 bags full of fallen leaves later the trail looked transformed.  Of course it wasn't all work as the Agility Trail just had to be tried out to make sure that it was alright, whilst we were there; as did the Play Park!

Sponsorship

ALL Beavers have a form for sponsorship for the collection of bags of leaves.  If you haven't yet done so, it is not too late to sponsor the Beavers for this magnificent effort.  All money and forms should be returned as soon as possible on a normal meeting night please.  Lost or mislaid forms can be replaced with a copy HERE. Should you be reading this and don't know a Beaver, no matter a quick email to us via one of the many links will put you in touch when we can give you help in making a donation to funds.  ALL cheques should be made payable to the 9th Bournemouth Scout Group.

ALL funds raised from this event will be plowed back into the 9th Bournemouth Beaver Colony to enable the cost of visits and additional activities to be subsidised.  How much depends on the total sponsorship raised....but that will be declared in another blog sometime soon.
