Fun in the Sun
08 June 2016

Apologies for late posting.  The weather has been too nice to be stuck on a keyboard.

Last Sunday saw an exceptionally well attended track day at Ian W's. The sun shone from a cloudless blue sky and we had plenty of steam to watch.

David A kicked off proceedings.  Altcar Bob's linling looked very smart.

This shot does not do full justice to the day's attendance, which peaked at thirteen, some kind of recent record.

Raymond's Roundhouse Russell made an appearance.

Chris ran his Roundhouse Billy.  'Gold' locos look rather good in sunlight.

This shot shows Ian's expanded Backhill station with 'Cadi' on a passenger.  Ian built 'Cadi' some years ago and she has now returned home. Good to see one of Ian's locos in maroon.

Thanks go to Susan for an excellent lunch and to Fraser for the entertainment.
