Track Day at Pat and Raymond's
01 May 2016

The weather forecast predicted a gap in the May Day mizzle from mid morning for a few hours and this actually came to pass.  Those who had made the trek from points north and east had an enjoyable running session.

First out of the traps was Chris C's Cheddar Samson.

Tom demonstrated the prowess of his recently acquired Roundhouse War Department Alco 2-6-2T.

Dave W's Roundhouse Darjeeling B class had a good workout.

Chris made it a double helping of Cheddar after lunch by giving his Ivor an outing.

Raymond's canal basin provided a different background for the day's line up photo.

No names, no packdrill but one member was spotted polishing his loco prior to the line up shot.  We must remain vigilant in the face of this sort of professionalism.

Thanks go to Pat for a first rate lunch.  The fruit loaf with added marmalade certainly won a few fans.
