The weather was very kind to us for our running day at Tom's. Much of the day's activity involved preparations for our forthcoming trip to Peterborough. Luckily we had models to hand to demonstrate the new WoSG logo'd polo shirts and fleeces that can now be oredered from the 16mm Association suppliers. It is not essential to be horizontal to look smart in these high fashion garments.Chris C also brought along a completed example of the HGLW Grain wagon kit that has previously been discussed on the Facebook Group. Hopefully we will have a full rake of these running on Glendreich at the show.
Another debutante was Ian W's latest small loco - Little Grimsby, now undergoing proving trials.
Alonside all of this we managed to hold an EGM to determine the future fate of Glendreich, fettle the layout for van transport and Andrew even managed to run a couple of his Mamods. Here we see one with a long train, mainly of his scratch built military rolling stock.
Thanks go to Tom and Moira for their hospitality.
