Track Day - Tom H
19 April 2015

Another good turnout for our running day at the Skipper's South Beech line.  There was a pretty even split between steam and I/c outline runners.

Proceedings were kicked off by Andrew who ran his own build 'Tin Turtle' with some suitably military rolling stock. The double track layout here allows for more than 'One Engine in Steam'

Dave W's Roundhouse Russell is not short of steam running light engine back to the sheds while Ian W's 'Lilla' takes charge of a short but surprisingly heavy freight train.

By way of variety Chris C put his Mamod Traction Engine through its paces on the patio.

Mike B ran his Roy Wood 'Salem' complete with sound card before it was time for steam again.

Derek's Edrig made easy work of a very light train.

Ian McG's Roundhouse Atlantic takes a turn on the goods.

Raymond gave an outing to his beautifully finished 'Russell'

By way of a finale Andrew showed that a meths fired mamod can actually pull a train.

Thanks go to Moira for lunch.
