Track Day at Mike B's.
16 November 2014
They say that a picture is worth a thousand words. Here's 10 k's worth.
On a beautiful autumn day Tom's Roundhouse Lady Anne got things under way. A great day for steam.
Ian W's Britomart always gets the photographers snapping.
Dave W's Mamod enjoyed a run out.
Speaking of Mamods , Tom's Puff got a workout of its new meths burner before going on to complete several laps.
Chris C's Cheddar Steam Tram has been receiving attention in the shops but had a satisfactory set of trials.
New member Derek's Edrig made a debut appearance. Moments later there was a minor catastrophe as a tyre was shed leading to a plunge from the viaduct. Fortunately no harm was done.
Derek brought some of his scratchbuilt rolling stock, including this very neat whisky wagon which will look just the part on Glendreich, our portable exhibition layout.
No shortage of steam on Ian McG's Roundhouse Atlantic.
Cegin, another Ian W creation, with a short train of Derek's coaches.
A great day to sit in the sun and watch trains run.
Today's roster shot was quite impressive. Mike's Roundhouse Taliesin is ready for the off.
Thanks go to Margaret for a very tasty lunch.
