The group's trek to the Far East took place under grey skies but the rain (mainly) held off. Tom H opened proceedings with 'Fearless' , his Accucraft Edrig.Ian McG ran his Roundhouse Atlantic, seen here with steam to spare on one of the rare level sections on the GLR.  The construction site for the new Glenmutchkin Station can be seen beyond the train.

Some of the Glen's inhabitants turned out in the rather vain hope of a passenger train making an appearance at Inverstarve. It was all freight traffic today.After lunch Pat M's Regner 'Angus McPhwat', previously owned by the late P.D.Hancock, took a few turns round the circuit with the ballast train. A very impressive performance for a single cylinder machine.
