A successful work day was held at the Chairman's place today. Track was laid on the two additional boards that have been built to allow Glendreich to be extended. This gives us a much extended passing loop and an additional siding in front of the distillery, as well as a 'fiddle siding' behind the scenes.

Tom and Moira's conservatory could have been purpose built as a workshop for layout construction and allowed us to listen to the rain drumming on the roof rather than on our heads.

It's amazing how useful a straight edge can be when it comes to track laying.  Next up is constructing an extension to the backscene and finalising the design for the additional buildings that will be needed. All being well this will be done on 25th March.
