Only 12 months since our leader's relocation he was able to host the traditional pre-Christmas track day at South Beech.

After some delicate engineering work to refit the bridge we were up and running. First out of the traps was Raymond's Roundhouse Russell .

The double tracked main circuit meant there was no queuing for a running slot. Ian W's no.1 hauling a short freight passes Dave W's Roundhouse Darjeeling B class running light engine.

The Roundhouse hat-trick was completed by Ian McG's Atlantic.

As befitted our last meeting of the year Santa put in an appearance, wearing his second best outfit.
