Sunday saw a break in the Autumn weather and the rain held off (mainly) allowing a decent running session at Ian's. Fresh from the Greenock Show Dave W's Merlin Minstrel (now 30 years old) made a rare outdoor appearance and even managed to haul a train. The moral of this story is make sure that you run your locos in properly.

The traditional roster line up was a bit thin. Contrary to appearances Cegin is not providing a steam boost to the Minstrel. Note to self. Check background when taking photos.
