Despite filthy weather across most of Scotland we were able to enjoy a track day in the sunny corner this week. Running conditions were pretty well ideal.

Today's loco selection showed a nice balance between prototypes built in Yorkshire and those from native Scottish builders.

As usual Raymond had something large scale and interesting to show us in his workshop. On this occasion it was two things - a magnificent showman's traction engine and the Harland & Wolff diesel shunter in the photo.

Just in case we have another summer like last year it seemed like a good chance to show the group enjoying a day in the sun.
