The weather was kind to us again although it was chilly in the shade, giving some good steam effects on the photos.
 

Dave W's Roundhouse Darjeeling eases by the branch junction on a freight.  The contrast between shade and sun is highlighted on this shot.

Andrew M brought his meths fired Mamod and ever growing train of military wagons. The Mamod performed very creditably up the branch and, later on, running circuits on the  main line.

Spot this photographer's favourite pitch. Nothing to do with there being a very handy bench to sit on. Tom H's RH Tom Rolt has relieved on the freight.

Today's loco line up was a  bit less red than some that we have had recently. As well as the locos featured above we had David A's Edrig, Ian W's Cegin and Dave W's Mamod.
