Visit to the Far East
16 September 2012

Today's track day was at the Glenmutchkin Light Railway where there was a very good attendance despite the unpromising weather.

We were joined again b y Andy B, from the East group who took the photos above and below. Today he brought his Peter Angus FR Prince, an ideal loco for the Glenmutchkin roller coaster gradients.  Prince trundled round with a heavy train of gravel filled Big Big train hoppers nae bother.

As usual Fraser didn't need the rain to get wet, although Tinkerbelle's water cannon did seem to provoke a downpour.

Eventually the rain got so heavy that we were forced inside so we didn 't get a line up of all of today's runners but here are a few of them. Again photo by Andy B

Thanks go to Rosena for lunch which was served promptly and beat the rain.
