A select band met at Glenmutchkin on Sunday, where the weather was positively tropical. Ian W's WD Hunslet found the tracklaying to be satisfactory on this occasion - much to the relief of the Glenmutchkin's Chief Engineer.Ian also brought Cegin and proved that it was possible to run a manual non-geared loco at Glenmutchkin - as long as you are fit enough to keep up. Pat's Regner Lumberjack, now roofless,  made much more serene progress   up hill and down dale.

Pat's Peter Angus  Garratt "Manipuri" made a debut appearance on the GLR  demonstrating impressive haulage power. Not everybody was impressed.
