Tom hosted our first meeting of the New Year. Hopefully the excellent attendance is a good omen for 2012. The indoor layout, tentatively christened "Glendreich", was set up in the garage and the Clyde Military Railway was at our disposal. So we spent most of the time indoors gabbing apart from Fraser R who formed a one man splinter group working on Tom's O- Gauge. Mr Steammodelloco himself, Bob Young, turned up with plans and one wheel for a 5" gauge Yankee of some description. He'll be having to rewrite the rules of his own e-group next.

We did stir ourselves long enough to watch Ian W's beautiful little Barclay "Cegin" make her steam debut. This was followed by Dundreich hosting a first running of a steamer in the shape of Pat M's Regner Lumberjack, now complete with "Michael Palin" nameplates.
