A bright , frosty morning
06 November 2011

The first frost of the winter meant that it was necessary to scrape  ice off the rails on the Glenmutchkin Light Railway for today's meet.

The day didn't really warm up very much which meant that we had some spectacular steam effects - most notably on Ian W's No.1.

Mike B's Roundhouse Taliesin was a first time visitor to the GLR and behaved immaculately.

Rosena's vegetable soup was very welcome, as was the indoor warm up. In the afternoon the sun finally made it to the further recesses of the garden illuminating Ian W's Lilla in a rather ghostly way.
