Photos of Stuart Mathewsons late father 22295444 L/cpl James Mathewson taken in 1962. He came from Leven, Fife, and served in D Coy 15 Para at Perth. D Coy later became D Squadron 23 SAS at Invergowrie.The group photo is at RAF Abingdon on a basic para course with my dad at the rear on the left. My dad joined 15 Para after leaving the regular army having served with the REME in Egypt in the Canal Zone 1953-55
