BEAVERS are aged between six and eight years old.
Joining: The Beaver Scout Leader will let you know the date the new Beaver Scout can begin. Structure: A group of Beaver Scouts is called a Colony, and each Colony can be split up into smaller groups called Lodges. Beavers have a Promise and Motto, but there is not a Beaver Scout Law. The concepts of the Scout Law should be presented to Beavers through games, storytelling and other informal devices.
BeaverScout Promise: I promise to do my best, To be kind & helpful And to love God.
Motto: Be Prepared!
Parent Rota: We are always on the look out for parent helpers who can help out on our Colony evening and/or our outings. You can volunteer as much, or as little time as you like - we will be very grateful for any time you can give us. Please be aware that all parent helpers will have to undergo a CRB check before you are allowed to help with the Beavers. Please ask Brown Beaver for more information if you are interested in helping us out. Thank you.
