1066 COUNTRY WALK BOOK NOW OUT!
31 January 2012

My second walking book THE 1066 COUNTRY WALK has recently been published. The historic walk traces the foosteps of William the Conqueror from his landing at Pevensey in East Sussex, via Battle where his victory over King Harold changed the course of English history for ever, to finish in the charming town of Rye.  For the first time the 32 mile route has been broken down into 6 stages; in addition there are a further 6 circular walks all incorporating part of the 1066 route - so that's 12 walks in all. Packed with superb photos, great sketch maps and fascinating snippets of local history, the book is recommended by the 1066 Tourist Board. You can obtain a signed copy from me for £10.99 by visiting the book's website www.spanglefish.com/1066countrywalk
