ROUTES - INFORMATION
- For the first time the 1066 Country Walk is broken down into 6 separate stages making it far easier for walkers, particularly those from outside the area, to plan their itinerary. However there are also 6 circular walks in the second half of the book, all incorporating part of the 1066 route, thus allowing walkers to explore even more of this delightful countryside!
- Walks are graded for degree of difficulty, ranging from 1 (Easy) to 5 Very Testing!)
- Dog walkers are advised on each route as to the likelihood of encountering sheep, cows and other livestock

- Easy to follow sketch maps drawn by local wildlife artist Lorraine Ashley, who also drew the superb icons map at the front of the book
