Under Weir Hall Library on the left hand side of the site, you will find the statement I made on behalf of the Association at the Upper Edmonton Forum.  Since that time, I have been in contact with Cllr. McCannah as Weir Hall Library more than fulfils the requirements of the Public Library Service Standards which he quoted at the meeting.  He has now moved the goalposts and contends that because the Borough as a whole falls between Levels 2 and 3 of the Audit Commission standards it is necessary to 'relocate' Weir Hall Library.

Some years ago, Weir Hall Clinic was moved to Fore Street to attract more visitors and last week as I walked along Fore Street I noticed that it had closed.   Is this the fate for Weir Hall?
