Regular major events include the:

 Annual  Wildlife Festival:  www.wildaboutgairloch.com 

 The 2011 event  was the FIRST of its type! Nearly 20 events / outings / guided walks / boat trips per day for a five day period at the end of June - Discovering where to see whales, how to identify butterflies, and whether you were able to stalk down a deer using a camera! Attractions to suit all the family, and walks to suit all abilities. Also presentations and experts on hand to answer all your questions about the wildlife of Wester Ross.

The 2012 Event will be held at a similar time of year, and provisional dates have now been set. The 2012 festival will be from 28th June until 4th July - 7 days of wildlife activities and adventure!  Keep your eye on the site and the facebook page for more details.

Always on the first Saturday of July -  Gairloch's own "Highland Games". Held this year in bright sunshine, with a whole day of fun and interest for everybody! Highland Games, crafts, bouncy castles, Classic car displays, evening ceilidh with "Skerryvore", refreshments, food and beer tent . 2012 event on July 8th. Why not take in the wildlife festival AND the Gathering?
