On Saturday we had a special treat when we visited the litter of eleven at Kyleca Beardies in Prudhoe.  Mum Jessica has done a super job with her enormous family, and her pups are as cuddly and gorgeous as ever Beardie pups can be. Thanks Cath and Ken for the invitation to visit, and wishing all the best for the future to Jessica's offspring.

Today a group of us met up at Jackie's for some herding training, and despite the wintry showers Diva, Nell, Bella and Gizmo all produced some pleasing work.  The high spot for all of us was six-month old puppy April who had her first encounter with the sheep in the training pen.  The lightbulb moment was plain to see and she enjoyed herself hugely and was very proud of herself. With a little more maturity April looks like one we could have some fun with!
