Newby Hall in late summer must be one of the nicest fixtures on the showing calendar for us, a beautiful venue only fifty minutes pleasant drive away.  The weather was perfect for dog showing today, sunny but not too hot, and with a very light breeze.

Honey and Meg had a great time seeing all their friends and having a good rummage around the trade stands after judging. They came away with a third in Yearling and a VHC in Limit Bitch respectively from judge Alan Burfitt, and were thrilled to hear that Diva's fellow herding enthusiast (Linda Pierson's Ebony) not only took Best Puppy in Breed but also second in the Pastoral Puppy Group - well done little Ebony!
