Catching up with a quick summary....

Ryedale as a local show made a nice day out for Ruby and Beattie and a chance for Laura to exercise her remarkable skills at selecting winning raffle tickets - all those Easter eggs!  Ruby did well winning another Best Veteran and a special prize of (you guessed) an Easter egg, and Beattie brought money home for her placing in the sponsored stakes class which was nice

The following day saw us off down the A1 with Honey and Beattie, plus Ellie and Lola, to the Eastern Bearded Collie Ch Show held at the Newark showground. This was as ever a well-supported show with large classes, so we were pleased to pick up placings, in Graduate with Lola, and Post-Grad with Beattie, under the bitch judge Mrs Margaret Harkin (Claudalla) and also to have Honey shortlisted in the strong Limit Bitch class.  Even nicer was Creaglion's good second in Mid-Limit Dog, going very well for Laura under judge Mr Felix Cosme

As for W.E.L.K.S. it has to be said that the cold and wet conditions detracted hugely from what could have been a pleasant trip to Malvern.  All the dogs were shortlisted in their classes - judge was Miss Ruth Scott - but otherwise it was not much of a fun trip!

Never mind, it can only get better, so they say anyway!!
