Diva returned for another look at the sheep last night and showed a wary enthusiasm for her new hobby, being much encouraged by a larger paddock and a larger flock of thirty woolly friends, plus loyal Border Collie assistant Josh helping to keep the flock under control from time to time!
Meg had a little burst as well, and despite her age (6) and current lack of fitness showed great enthusiasm for the job and a rare turn of speed too. She was quite miffed when obliged to wait in the car while her daughter had a turn with the flock again. One to watch after her diet I think!
We plan to invite fellow Beardie herding enthusiasts to join us for a dedicated herding day in June. Please feel free to contact us for more details if you are interested in taking part or spectating, should be fun!
