DILL (Talraz Splashout) - 1 Feb 1997 - 29 Dec 2010

We are sorry to have to start the year with some sad news, the loss of two much-loved Talraz Beardies. 

Our sympathies are extended firstly to Clive and Carolyne, who had to say goodbye to their dear old Dill (T. Splashout). Pictured above enjoying the snow, Dill was a son of Danny (Talraz Talent Scout) and Shannon (Talraz Paddy's Pride for Lykath) and until fairly recently shared his home with another Talraz Beardie, the late Bracken, a litter brother to our Jess.

He was a very fun-loving, kindly Beardie with a hint of mischief, and despite his failing health remained active to the end, enjoying opening his presents on Christmas morning!

Sadly, soon after Christmas, his health deteriorated and the time had come to say goodbye.  Carolyne writes:

"He leaves a huge gap in our lives...but....some amazing memories and a very very special place in our hearts"

 More sad news came this morning, with a very unexpected phone call from Bill, loving owner of our Honey's handsome slate brother Jake

 Tragically, Jake was hit by a car yesterday and killed.  For almost five years he was the constant companion and soulmate of Bill, who is devastated to lose his best mate in such circumstances.

We are so sorry Bill.  Sleep tight, dear Jake...
