We experienced some lashing rain during our weekend trip to this show, but luckily there were enough breaks for us not to have to turn up in the ring with dripping dogs!

The young girls Madge and Roxy picked up placings in the Junior class, but star of the day was Cawley (T. Piece Of Heaven), who, tired of waiting for his new show coat to be delivered, decided to attend this show just as he was, and proved the idea to be a good one by winning the Graduate class under judge of the day Mr Robert Ballantyne (Bustroc) who commented that he had won the class on his movement.  Who needs a coat anyway?

Creaglion (T White Feathers), litter brother to Cawley (and also of course to Mirk and the late Blaze) put in an appearance at this show, and despite a tenedency to act the fool, managed to gain reserve in the Post-Graduate class.  With a little more showmanship this handsome dog could be quite a force to be reckoned with, and we were certainly proud to be able to say he is the sire to our current litter.

A pleasant journey home was somewhat marred by car problems, sadly it looks as if out trusty Berlingo will have to be treated to a new gearbox in the near future!
