Away from the show ring and back in the training paddock, Beattie had a vigorous "freestyle" session with the sheep this morning, which went a long way towards restoring her confidence and enthusiasm, somewhat dampened currently after her recent "butting episode".

Her sister Roxy also worked, both keenly and well, showing a natural relaxed wide running style unusual in Beardies, and very promising for future progress in training.

Not to be outdone, their aunt Diva and uncle Mirk were also put through their paces, Diva accepting flanking commands both short and long to lead into more progress in driving, and Mirk using his power and authority to hold sheep for sorting at the gateway.

All our Beardie herding team loved their action-packed morning at The Glebe, and Jackie our trainer was well satisfied with all their performances today.
