We were blessed with the warmest day of the year so far at this, our first outdoor championship show of the season, and everybody seemed to be relaxed and enjoying  themselves, soaking up the sunshine between classes and demolishing ice cream and cold drinks with gusto, though a light breeze kept things from getting uncomfortably warm - perfect dog showing weather!

For the first time since their early puppyhood, our Beattie met up with her litter brother Blake, and we thought the family resemblance quite remarkable, as these photos may show....

Both took nice third places in their respective puppy classes under judge Una Cornthwaite (Braddabrook), so now Beattie joins the list of "Blaze Babies" qualified for next year's Crufts, bringing the total up to six so far - with still at least one still waiting to make his debut!

The line-up in the Puppy Bitch class - Beattie takes third place
