On Saturday Beattie, Diva and Meg made a trip to this friendly local limited show where Beattie made several new friends and received quite a few compliments on her good behaviour!

She also picked up two first prize cards, from the Minor Puppy Bitch and the Maiden classes.  Diva took second in the AV Pastoral Open class, and first in the AV Bred By Exhibitor - but the star of the day was our Meg this time.  She won both her classes, AV Veteran and AV Open, and topped the day off with a very gratifying Reserve Best In Show - well done Meg! Judge of the day was Mrs Diane Parry (Leiborschy)

With the weather just a tiny bit kinder today Jess must have woken up with a spring in her step.  Noisily insisting on joining the others for a morning walk, she strode out like a good 'un and managed a quite remarkable road work session - much of it uphill - a distance of well over half a mile, quite an achievement for a dog of her age who a few short months ago was totally bedbound and unable to even raise her head!

After a wash and brush up she snoozed happily for the rest of the day and appears very proud of herself, though she may be a little stiff in the morning.  Now we're all looking forward to the spring weather when she can get out more often.
