With the snow which has been such a beautiful nuisance for the last month finally deciding to give us a break, Diva was thrilled to have a spin round the sheep today, and on her best behaviour for trainer Jackie - who, despite nursing a recent broken leg, is picking up where she left off with the herding training.

Diva's younger brother Mirk also had a session, and it is clear that his enforced lay-off has done him no harm as he is as keen as ever!

Jackie treated us to a sneak preview of her forthcoming book - titled "Barking Mad", which is a history of her involvement with Bearded Collies and herding from the 90's to the present date, and proved a humourous and informative read.  One for the collection I think!

 Finally Beattie - seven months today - participated in a simple on-lead herding exercise, moving sheep to a coned area, something she was happy to tackle, and was duly photographed - perhaps to appear in a future Glebe publication?
