This evening, for the first time in over two weeks, Jess managed to raise up into a sitting position, albeit shakily - see her own page for the photographic evidence, which we managed to obtain the next time she performed the feat!

Her appetite is better than ever, and her eyes look bright and alert.  We have discontinued both the Vivitonin and the steroids, neither of which appeared to make any appreciable difference to her condition, but will continue with the Co-Q10 which is such a valuable supplement, and on Saturday she has been promised another visit from Liz Harris the McTimoney chiropractor, since her last session - which included massage and Reiki - seemed to give her such a boost

It may be a long time before she is fully mobile again, if she ever is, but if she can continue happy and pain-free on this regime for a while longer that would be wonderful - we are just taking things one day at a time for now

But to finally see some progress is a cause for a minor celebration - fireworks anyone??
