A trip to Blackpool made a lovely change today and we were blessed with glorious weather for it.

Blaze took a second place in Junior Dog, and brother Cawley also went well to take reserve in this strong class - we were delighted to have both of them in the line-up.  Blaze then went one better and won the Special Yearling class, under judge Mr Derek Smith.

After a stroll around the trade stands the gathering black clouds signalled to us that it was time to leave, and we drove home through heavy summer showers.  It's cooled things off beautifully and our village looks fresh, green and pretty tonight in the evening sunshine.

The pups have grown in the meantime and some of Ruby's look as if their eyes are almost open now, so sweet.
