Blaze and Diva are having a quiet day today as they rest up from their activities with the sheep at "Camp Beardie" yesterday.

Blaze grows more enthusiastic on each encounter, and with guidance from trainer friend Jackie is beginning to show some useful moves - he certainly likes to boss the sheep!

Diva is lately starting to challenge us and our authority, in the herding context. Interestingly this coincides with much improved confidence in her work, so perhaps she now feels humans are superfluous to her job? While we don't necessarily want mindless obedience a little less of the open defiance would not come amiss....generously we are making allowances for a possible "hormonal" state, as she was so recently in season, but we hope she will soon return to her former biddable self!
