Blaze had to go on his own to this show, held at the Newark and Notts showground just down the A1, as the three girls who were also entered are all now in season and excused show duties.

Although unplaced in the strong Junior Dog class under judge Mrs Ann Andrews (Hecatie), he managed a nice second in the Debutant class before enjoying a free run on the open grassed spaces which are a bonus at this venue.

He can now get as dirty as he wants again after his busy weekend!
