While we were rushing around getting dogs washed and the car packed ready for the Crufts trip (no cards this year but both Cawley and Honey making the cut in strong classes) our "bookend" little sisters Ruby and Jeannie were quietly celebrating a milestone bithday.

It was seven years ago on 7th March 2002 that they made their appearance in to the world, together with their two brothers.  Their mum Silver had a difficult time giving birth, we ended up with her having a Caesarian and the unfortunate loss of the large male puppy which had held up all the proceedings.  However Silver then settled and reared her little family beautifully, and they have been a joy.

And now Jeannie and Ruby are officially Veterans, where does the time go?
