Ply Sandles
For the boots I glue & screwed together a large ply frame which ended up looking like an over size pair of sandles!

Styrofoam Boots
Next I cut some shapes out of styrofoam and then glued them in the gaps around the sandles, I then trim back and shaped the styrofoam between the layers of the ply sandles.

Refining the boots
At this stage I sanded and fill with plastic padding the then some more sanding to make the shape right.

Exterior coat of resin
After finishing all the sanding and filling I then glued some upholstery nails across the ends of the boots before covering the entire surface with a thin coat of plastic resin.

Finishing off & painting
To create a line for the side of the sole I screwed a strip of 35mmx6mm palite(expanded plastic) around the edge on both boots before applying several coats of white under coat paint.

The finished boots(front angle) with aged black paint around rivets and defining the sole of boot.

Finished boot with ankle collars
The ankle collars were made with the plastic sides of fizzy drink bottles (2 lt), sprayed gold then stapled together.
