Laggan & St Bride's Notices 2 Sep

Welcome to church this morning.  If you are a visitor, we hope that you quickly feel at home with us.  This is a service of Holy Communion and we invite all who love our Lord to join us around the table.  Tea and Coffee will be served at the close of the service and we hope as many as possible will be able to stay for this.  A retiring offering will be taken to be split between Oxfam and Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY).

At the back of the church you will find the proofs of the photo book we want to send to our partners in Libis.  If you want anything altered in the text for your picture, there are post it notes for you to write on!

The calendar for 2019 is also available to look at and to order.

The prayer group meets on Monday at 12.30 p.m.

Rhyme Time meets on Tuesday from 10.15 a.m.

On Tuesday evening the presbytery will meet in St. Bride’s beginning at 7 p.m. with communion.  Everyone is welcome to join with them for the service and/or for the meeting that follows, at which we will be hearing about the issue of Universal Credit, amongst other business.

On Wednesday, Laggan’s helping hand has its monthly lunch in Laggan Hall from noon.

Next Sunday, in Laggan and St. Bride’s there will be congregational meetings to discuss our coming together into union.
