St Brides Notices 12 Nov

Welcome to all who have joined with us in worship this morning, with an especial welcome to any visitors among us.  Please stay to join us for tea and coffee after the service.  Shortly after the service there will be an act of remembrance at the village war memorial.

This afternoon there is an act of Remembrance at Dalwhinnie memorial, at 3 p.m.

The prayer group meets on Monday at 12.30.

Rhyme Time meets on Tuesday at 10.15 a.m.

The Church of Scotland has called all its members to be in prayer for the church – always, of course, but especially on November 25th.  To this end, we have produced prayer cards for each person to take and use.  Also on the 25th the church will be open from 9 a.m. -5 p.m. for those who want to come and pray quietly there.

Kate Downie will have cards for sale from next Sunday, she wishes to give the proceeds to Jennifer Buchan towards the next stage of her Gap Year adventure – this time in South Africa.

The photographic calendars have arrived.  Please see Roy Alexander to pick up and pay for those already ordered, or to buy more.  £5 each.

You can read the sermon for today here: Remembrance Sunday
