Notices 14 May

Welcome to all who have joined with us in worship this morning, with an especial welcome to any visitors among us. There will be an informal act of communion in the side aisle after this service.

The funeral of Drummond Laidlaw will take place tomorrow, Monday 15th, at noon.

Rhyme Time meets on Tuesday at 10.15 a.m.

The Session will meet on Tuesday 16th May at 7 p.m.

Next Sunday, 21st  May, Lochaber Presbytery are holding their own “Heart and Soul event to coincide with the big event in Edinburgh.  Beginning at 2 p.m in Duncansburgh Memorial Church, Fort William, they would be happy to welcome visitors.

Crossreach is asking us to collect our old-style pound coins.  Boxes for this purpose can be found at the back of the church.

On May 17th, the presbytery is holding a prayer vigil, with 5 centres for prayer being open from 9 a.m. till 9 p.m.  St. Bride’s is one of the 5 centres which will be open for prayer that day, and as a hosting church we are asked to provide cover for the day, so that there is always at least one person here.  There is a sign-up sheet on the board at the rear of the church.  Those who do not sign up are invited to come in at any time to pray for the church’s work in this area.  There will be information and stimuli to prayer provided.
