Owen Smith - if he's the Future I think I'll pass

I love this photo (the first one below) of the self-confessed Duracell Bunny, Owen Smith in full animation at one of his leadership rallies. Here again we have the crisp white shirt, rolled up sleeves, a forced passion in his delivery, a backscreen projector reminding us he is Labour's Future, and last but not least a group of supporters sitting behind the New Messiah.

It's these we need to look at more closely because herein lies the political correctness. We can see four females and three men but I would bet my last penny that hidden behind Owen is another male for full gender equality. As Owen is so small this person may be a midget as well and why not go full hog and make him actually gay, bi or transexual - with a wooden leg to boot. Tick all the boxes in one, why not? Then we have at least two of them of likely Asian or Arabian extraction. But most of all my eyes keep going to the young man in a red T-shirt and glasses because I'd swear that Owen's head has been photoshopped onto his body. Otherwise they are twins, surely?

One final thing strikes me though. If Labour's Future is Owen Smith and we all end up looking as miserable as these poor buggers behind him, then I think I'd rather end it all now. Contrast these faces with a photo from the same Guardian article I lifted this one from showing Jeremy Corbyn interacting with some of his supporters. I know whose world I would rather live in - if I do have to live under a Labour regime at all.
