Doppelgangers

Has anyone noticed the striking resemblance between the Labour MP for Aberavon and the President of Russia? It's not only the closely shaved skull, the thin, pursed lips and the macho pose, but even when they are walking there is a swagger that is very similar. And both seem to share an enthusiasm for outdoor sports.

It's a well known fact that Neil Kinnock's boy once worked in St Petersburg and had his collar felt by the Russian police, with allegations his arrest was politically motivated. Could it be possible that a swap took place at that time and the man who now claims to "have kept strong and continuing links to South Wales throughout (his) life" is, in fact, a former top-ranker within the KGB?

If this is true, of course, then Neil's boy is now running one of the most powerful nations on Earth, and all those language skills of Boyo are being put to good use at gatherings of world leaders at those economic summits.

Classic KGB swagger - allows for a gun holster to be strapped to chest

And isn't it a dead giveaway that "the man who walked from Copenhagen to Aberavon" (I'll never forget that sobriquet, courtesy of surely Wales' foremost anti-establishment blogger, Jac o' the North) has been taking part in all those manly activities like the Beast of Bryn, the Richard Burton 10K, Round the Pier Race Aberavon and most recently the Cardiff Half Marathon, then plastering social media with the images. I predict that there will be the inevitable marathon and a triathlon for Boyo/Vladimir, yet another chance for some macho posturing, working up a sweat and getting a picture in the paper!

Russian President with that don't f*** with me pose

With my reputation I'm very wary right now of whom I have a cup of tea with.
